If you arrive in Sofia, please define beforehand if you will mainly travel for work or for leisure because Sofia has drastically increased supply of GoingOut options ie here are all the places for going out around Vitosha Boulevard which you could and should enjoy if possible: Coffee Lab Costa Coffee across Social Cafe and Wok2Walk Burger The Butcher Gladston 36 Ninja Bowl Confetti when going to stay at a nearby bookstore Hungry Tram22 (off Vitosha go with Tram22). Don't forget to wonder around beautiful Art Galleries in the town center and there is also a Picasso Exhibition at the Sofia University next to Crystal Palace Hotel. My husband recently had a one-night stay with his brother at Hotel Aurora Sofia. The room was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Beyond that, the staff were exceptionally nice and accommodating. A special shout-out goes to the receptionist, Neda. My husband wasn't sure if they'd need to extend their stay for two more nights. They asked Neda if she could book a room for them for those additional days, with the understanding that they wouldn't pay upfront and would have free cancellation within a few hours until they finalized their decision. She was incredibly eager to help and arranged everything without hesitation. We are very thankful for her understanding and excellent service. Lastly, the breakfast was fantastic – very varied and incredibly tasty.

Location was superb, facilities, staff, comfort, everything perfect. The bedroom was much bigger than I expected, as when I booked it I did not check exactly because I had to change the hotel at the last minutes. It was a big surprise when I got in and saw there was a living room with a small kitchen, bedroom was very comfortable and a good size. I was allowed to check-in even before the time.
