The staff goes out of the way to make your stay very enjoyable . We particularly appreciated the services and warmth of restaurant manager of Verbena restaurant and Scangar at Spices , who went out of the way to explain to us about the food and the history of Burgestock .

The property has mountain and lake views, and is 27 km from Lucerne Station. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Very nice room, clean and very well maintained. You have all the facilities needed for cooking, and everything is in an excellent condition and clean. The view from the balcony was great too. Warm (and direct) hosting, which really puts attention to details, always happy to chat and recommend where to visit. It is definitely a place I would come back.

The rooms at Engel Hotel feature white, empty walls, pine wood floors and straight lines. The monochrome bed headboards have built-in mirrors and halogen lighting. Very nice hotel, friendly staff, excellent restaurant. Big room, comfortable beds, great bathroom. Perfect choice for visiting the region and avoiding the extremely expensive and crowded Lucerne.

The restaurant serves fine seasonal cuisine with many products from local farms. It is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 6.30 pm. The location is just so romantic and so accurate in all the details. The staff is just so sweet and warmhearted. Amazing stay!!
