This hotel is divided into 2 buildings from the 18th-century, a former school, from Napoleon III period. Hôtel de Biencourt is located in Azay-le-Rideau, in the Parc naturel régional Loire-Anjou-Touraine. Super good service. If I visit this location, this hotel shall be on my list. The front desk helped us to direct our vehicle to park in the hotel’s secured parking. The front desk informed us to pick up items after we left. Lobby is spacious for meeting friends & families.

Close to the centre of Saumur, the hotel Anne D'Anjou is overlooking the river and has a view of the chateau above.

All of the rooms offer a satellite TV and views of the Loire River and of the chateau. Five of these rooms still have their original decor (Louis XVI, Restoration, Empire periods). Rooms with views of the river or castle are available upon request. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. The location is stunning, and the renovation has been done with incredible taste and attention to detail. What truly made the experience exceptional was the warmth and care of the staff — they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A special touch that stood out: they had dog treats and a bowl of water waiting for us upon arrival. That was a first, and it meant a lot. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The hotel offers comfortable rooms with a functional decor. They offer a free Wifi access. Lovely location, in beautiful Chinon. Hosts were extremely friendly. No complaints.

A continental breakfast is served daily at the property and children aged 9 years old and less can enjoy it at a reduced rate. Rooms are comfortable and come with a TV and a private bathroom. We came here 25 years ago, the hotel is soooo cute in an old style farm! The hotel is now even better with new owners, a modern look and so confortable! We had a room with an outside space and table, perfect for aperitif! One of the new feature we loved was the free filtered sparkling and normal water fountain and the little salon where there is a kitchenette with a microwave and all you need to have a dinner, as well as a coffee maker! Staff were so nice, it is also only a few minutes away from Chambord. There is a great safe bike garage where we could leave our bikes. Finally, right next to a supermarket, a bakery, and in a cute little village!

There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. The holiday home has family rooms. We loved the cave, especially on hot days as we had exceptionally high temperatures during our stay and it was very pleasant to sit in there:)
