Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Meal : We stayed two night and got different both for breakfast and dinner. The presentation of Kaiseki dishes were beautiful with Japanese sensitivity and it tasted wonderful. When we booked we requested if they could do dishes without meat (pescatarian diet) and it was served without any problem. (Might be helpful if there was a bit more detailed English description about taste and flavor for each Japanese sake and shochu in the drink menu at dinner) Room : We stayed in a deluxe room with wooden bathtub. It was well-cleaned and we got our futon ready everyday when we are out for dinner. The view from the room was very nice and we could hear birds singing in the forest behind the garden. There were a massage chair and it was fun experience although the language of the controller was English only. The Kimono we got first was too short for my partner (190cm) but they brought new one right away when we called the front desk. Staff : Generally they were pretty nice and friendly. There are front staff who speak English also. Bath : We booked a private bath (1500 yen for 45 minutes) We really liked the privacy and spacious bath for two people so we ended up booking twice a day. Location : It was a comfortable ride from Tobu-Nikko station. On the way back we took a walk and it was also a nice experience.

Very relaxed and family friendly, well equipped kitchen, free parking. Renting a car in this area was useful to get around.
This is a beautiful place to stay. I recommend getting the breakfast, it's simple but fresh and delicious. The staff were all very kind and helpful. Rooms are lovely and location next to the river makes it very relaxing. We had two children with us so ended up getting a taxi back to the station, it was a little tricky to get there with bags and kids but totally worth it!
Excellent everything. Great food. Superb service. Nice location. Clean rooms and onzens. Highly recommended, esp for a family with kids and a large group.
The location was really accessible for someone who plans to arrive to Kinugawaonsen station by train. Very easy to walk to, and close to restaurants/shopping. There was also enough space for me and my family to sleep comfortably (two young children). Our host was also very gracious and made recommendations for where to eat and what to see while in Nikko.
Wonderfull family hotel with excellent servis!!! 10/10
The hotel was set in a beautiful garden location. It’s a very big hotel and popular with families. Our room was large with floor to ceiling windows and a balcony. The foyer is huge with a bakery and a shop which sells local products. There was a separate part of the buffet restaurant dedicated to small kids under 5. There was a free shuttle bus to and from Nasushiobara station. There was a separate building for people with dogs. The air conditioning temperature was controlled by the hotel but it was OK.
Everything! My family adored this accomodation, my kids cried as we left. The staff were phenomenal, the facilities were really clean, tidy and well organised. Everything we might need (down to shoe dryers) was available. the Onsen was gorgeous
Winter is the off season and we got a fantastic last minute deal here in mid January. Comfortable rooms with enough space for a family of 4 including 2 teenagers. The traditional meals were a feast for the senses, though a little challenge for the teens. A minimum western menu at least for breakfast would have been a welcome addition. But all in all, a glorious unexpected stay!
