I would definitely recommend this place 100% if you are looking for a getaway weekend plan far in an wilderness kind of setup.

David was super helpful, both before we got there and while we were staying. He helped us organize transport to/from Emali SGR, he booked our safari in Amboseli, and went with us on a motorbike trip to the Tanzania border. We had great Kenyan food and really enjoyed our time with the family. I can definitely recommend this homestay!

The lodge offers 5-star accommodation with a hot tub and children's playground. We loved everything. The kindest staff. The waterhole which was next to the swimmingpool. We saw elephants, warthogs, zebra’s and many more from the pool and the dining area. Maina was our excellent guide! We saw so many animals, even nocturnal ones. Tawi lodge is like paradise. We loved it. We had clear view of Mount Kilimanjaro every day!! We loved the bush walk with Silvester. We loved the sundowner & the bush breakfast. I can go on for hours. And Amboselli National Parc is beautiful. So many different landscapes, such beautiful scenery..

Situated in Amboseli National Park, Kilima offers spacious accommodation with views of the animal water pools and the Mount Kilimanjaro. Guided game drives and bush walks are offered at an additional charge. Loved our time at Kilima - the staff was extremely friendly and even gave us a room upgrade! We were very pleasantly surprised with the food - everything was delicious and super well-seasoned. Chef Edward came out to meet us as well. The location is great, right next to the entrance to the park. Just keep in mind if you come from Nairobi you'll probably have to drive through the park to get to the hotel and consequently pay the entry fee, which is valid for 24h). For guests with children, the apartment features outdoor play equipment and a baby safety gate. Both a bicycle rental service and a car rental service are available at Tranquil Retreat, while cycling and walking tours can be enjoyed nearby. I really loved the customer service on top of everything. The space was so cozy, I would really recommend it to everyone and anyone. Top notch excellence, it surely is a home far from home.
