My stay at Ren i Tang was wonderful and is already providing good memories just a few days after leaving. From the moment I arrived until the day I left I was given so much care and attentiveness. The personal touch that you receive here is invaluable. The hotel itself is a renovated heritage shop and it seeps with interesting and quirky items and touches. Every corner has some cabinet or display that will catch your attention. The facilities are excellent: my room was spacious, the bed comfy and large, the bathroom and shower just right. There is a cute cafe which is part of the hotel and the food here is simply done and exceptional. This is where breakfast is served and I really enjoyed this. I also tried the herbal chicken soup for lunch and this is highly recommended if you are feeling a little run down. The staff here are wonderful and the hotel is lovely indeed.

We are in luck because the property is new! We chose to stay here because we wanted to experience how is it feels like staying in a local heritage houses in Penang. We love how the owner transformed the prewar shophouses into modern living heritage guesthouse while preserve the authenticity vibes of the property.
