Each of the stone-and-thatch rooms at Canyon Village are air-conditioned and have beds draped with mosquito nets. They have an en suite bathroom with a shower. Totally amazing place in the middle of nowhere. Wonderful cottages with hot shower and comfy beds set around a large inner area facing the beautiful main restaurant and lounge, bar areas. So well built, around and including the large boulders, they’re even inside the main building. The food was exceptional, dinners and breakfast both. Staff are so friendly and they light fires in many fireplaces in the main building and outdoor firepit. Thanks to Melencia and the Chef and all the staff,all wonderful . It’s a very beautiful place visually and also close to Fish River Canyon. No trouble for 2wd to access from the main road.

There is a barbecue and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The location, the food was excellent, had the best and freshest fruits ever. Staff was perfect. I would highly recommend this place.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Having time on a farm and watching farm life in action was wonderful after long days of driving. The lodgings were superb, nice decorative touches and spacious. A fully functioning kitchen was handy however we especially enjoyed Wilmari’s home cooked meals! We felt welcome and at home. We highly recommend Namgate and their farmhouse stall

Fabulous stop along the road to Windhoek - the chalets are awesome, the food was great and the service exceptional. Next time we would stay an extra day just to enjoy the peace and quiet and uniqueness of the location
