We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villas at Gone Fishing Resort in Boca Chica! From the moment we arrived, Brad, the owner, made us feel welcome and taken care of. He is such a great host – super friendly, helpful, and always around if you need anything. The resort itself is a little paradise - feels like a hidden gem. The pool is fantastic for cooling off and relaxing, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the whole property is surrounded by beautiful nature, which makes it easy to completely unwind. Breakfast was always delicious, especially the fresh fruits that were served every morning. We also went on the whale watching tour, which was a great experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. All in all, we had an unforgettable time at this place. Wonderful stay at Brad‘s place. Very friendly and helpful guy. He can arrange boat tours to the nearby islands. Excellent restaurant around the corner. The village is only a short walk away.

Hotel managers Ute and Ingo are super friendly and offered all kind of assistance whenever we needed (particularly when we do not understand Spanish when in trouble). Breakfast were tailored according to our nutritional needs and freshly made and we enjoyed it very much every morning. The whole stay offered super value and we highly recommend it. The playa Las Lajas is only 10 minutes drive away and you can have all the tranquility and peace the beautiful endless beach offers.
