We spent three days in Mawe Mawili swimming between the mangrove trees, chilling by the sea in the numerous shady spots, enjoying Hamis' delicious food and wandering on the beach and the villages juste nearby. We booked a tent but we were upgraded in a cabin, which was very confortable and beautiful, all wood-made with hand-made decoration. Fabian who manages the place was extremely nice and we had an amazing time thanks to him, Hamis and Ali.

I liked the reception from staff when we arrived and especially Klaus. The food was delicious, hot and fresh. The place is literally along the beach and we went kayaking at the mangroves, sailing and snorkeling. All arranged by Klaus and his team. We had had lunch on the boat, freshly prepared below the deck whilst enjoying the sun and the breeze on the sea. This is a hidden gem in Tanga and I invite you to visit and you will not regret.
Thank you so so much for the hospitality. We had an amazing time me especially it felt like home away from home 🙈. We are definitely going to come back again. I can’t put into words how amazing our stay was and how special our honeymoon felt but we got the peace and solace we we were looking for and we’re really happy🙏🏽🙏🏽.
The staff was amazing sooo respectful and always helpful I can’t wait to recommend Mawe Mawili to my family and friends🙈
