Herdade dos Grous is a secluded country estate spread across over 1700 acres. The Alentejo estate produces an award-winning wine and also has gardens, swimming pool, an artificial lake, vineyards and olive groves.

Historical Beja is a 21-minute drive while the Beja Airport is a 20-minute drive from the Herdade dos Grous. Stayed there for two nights of our European trip, to relax between visits to busy cities. Beautiful property and luxurious room. Welcome fruit, wine and pastries were a good surprise.

The property is a 15-minute drive from the Cuba city centre. Beja is a 30-minute drive from the farm stay and has a number of shops, bars and cafés. It is a 50-minute drive from historical Évora, which features a number of national landmarks such as the Roman Temple, the São Francisco Church, the Bones Chapel and the Lóios Convent. It is a 51-minute drive from Reguengos de Monsaraz. Wonderful location. Owners very friendly despite area being caught up in wild fires in August!
