This property is as beautiful as the host and even more beautiful in real life. I felt right at home instantly, so much so that I’ve already booked my next stay. The room is as stunning as the view and every detail from the pillows and Egyptian cotton linen to the toiletries, all gently scented to blend with nature the host has carefully selected to spoil her guests. Steeped in family tradition, even the name has a beautiful story behind it that the host shared with me over a delicious white from the her vineyard beside a cosy fireplace, I felt transported in time, I’m definitely coming back for the harvest. And I almost forgot to mention, at night the adjacent homes across the water turn into little glistening stars mirroring the skies above, I found calm my body much needed. The breakfasts and dinners that we had with Elizabeth and Pedro and the other guests will fantastic. Not only the healthy Portuguese food but also the warm welcome on their kitchen table. It was as if we were already friends for a long time. Elisabeth helped us making good choices for our day trips. Super for couples and families.

We were very pleased with our stay as a family! The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and spotless. The breakfast was amazing, with delicious fresh pastries every morning. The staff were extremely friendly and professional, and the amenities were superb. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

A good location for a relaxing holiday in Castro Laboreiro, Aldeia de Pontes - Castro Laboreiro is a farm stay surrounded by views of the mountain. The property features pool with a view, garden and parking on-site among other facilities. There is a private entrance at the farm stay for the convenience of those who stay. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Gorgeous little house, beautifully presented, spotlessly clean with everything you need. The bed was large and comfortable, good hot shower. The village was absolutely beautiful and the location outstanding with plenty of interesting walks right from the door. We had birds nesting on the balcony which was a joy to watch. Loved our stay here.

The kitchen has sufficient utensils to cook. We enjoyed our 3 night stay. Nuno was a very kind host.

The staff are all brilliant and couldn’t do enough to help; always going above and beyond with recommendations and assistance wherever needed! Couldn’t recommend Casa Lata enough!
