A very comfortable space. The grounds are beautiful. Our hosts were so accommodating and responsive, always asking what we needed, and giving those thoughtful little touches that make your stay that much better. The fireplace was so nice in the evenings. Just a lovely place overall. We also liked that it was situated in the middle of the north coast of the island, so traveling to see things both east and west was easy.

The unit has kitchen with all needed items if you want to cook your own meals. The fridge is stuffed with food - milk, butter, cheese, juice, eggs, all you need for breakfast for first couple of days. Ana and her staff are super welcoming.

The owners live there as well. You feel more like being a guest in a private house rather than hotel.

The staff here is incredibly hospitable. The garden is stunning, and the rooms are not only clean but also pleasant. The highlight, though, is the jacuzzi in the pineapple plantation – it's truly out of the blue. Whether in the soft evening light or the natural morning sunshine, it's a delightful experience. If I lived in Portugal, I would come here every weekend without hesitation. The overall charm and warmth of this place make it a perfect retreat.

The property consists of 3 villas, within an agricultural farm. Two of the villas have a double room and a mezzanine with 2 single beds, and direct ocean views, while the other has a double bedroom and ocean view from the private terrace. Each units has a kitchen, a living room including a cable TV and a sofa bed. The ocean pool was great and the ocean view spectacular.

Situated in Feteiras and only 15 km from Pico do Carvao, Moinho das Feteiras features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. There is a private entrance at the farm stay for the convenience of those who stay. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden. We liked the house, the garden and our privacy. The breakfest was delivered each day and with lots of options. Catarina was really nice and very communicative. We can only recommend this property, but maybe next time it would be nice to get other house with a better view at the ocean.

The Lagoa do Fogo is one of the island’s most famous tourist spots. It has lush green surroundings, several hiking trails around it and is one of the largest lagoons in all of the Azores. It is a 30-minute drive from the Ponta Delgada centre, which has a historical city centre, bars cafés and local shops. The unit is 500 metres from a beach area and there is a commercial area just 100 metres away, with a variety of shops. A wonderful place to stay, tranquility, picture perfect, home-made breakfast of local products, friendly staff, architecturally restored with respect to the original building, great little village 5 minutes walk full of activities that equal what's available in the city, highly recommend to stay here rather than Ponta Delgada which is reachable 20-25 mins by car if needed - would return to stay at the Convent without question.
