This farm stay features free private parking and a 24-hour front desk. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden. We had an amazing stay and everything went well from start to finish. Breakfast was great and freshly made. The owner went out of her way to help us solve a baggage issue we had prior to our stay. Great staff and would definitely recommend staying there.

He also gave us plenty of information (out of his restaurant recommendations we picked one and ended up having a memorable dinner at Eleven restaurant in Franschhoek). The cottae is in a very quiet and green setting and has a next-door nature reserve walk. It has the rustic feel of a cottage with all the modern comforts, beautiful kitchen with modern appliances, fire stove, comfortable mattresses, and plenty of pillows. Don't forget to buy one or more jars of their wonderful lemon marmalade.

At the farm stay, each unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. Nice owner (Alisson) and Nice house on the middle of the olive trees. Was perfect for us as a 1 night stop on the way to the East. Will strongly advise to ask Allison for a tour of her olives factory, it is very interesting! (Tasting at the end as well)

Leopards Leap Family Vineyards is a 2-minute walk from Heuwelsig Farm Cottages, while the Leeu Estate is 5.2 km from the property. The nearest airport is Cape Town International, 70 km from the accommodation. We stayed in a renovated historic farmhouse. All modern convienceces were available. Very cozy & comfortable!

The cottages are lovely, hot tub was great. The pool was clean and a welcome break from the heat. Attention to detail is evident all around and our stay was really relaxing. Will definitely come stay again, next time with a group of friends.

The minute we drove in the gate I started to relax. This place has a great "feel" to it, more like a home than a hotel. The cottages and surrounds are just beautiful. If we are in the Western Cape again, we will make sure to visit again.
