The owner is very sweet, helpful and speaks English very well. The apartment is clean, big enough and has everything you need. The location is fantastic and it has a big supermarket only a 3 minute walk away.

The place is amazing and in fact a big house with all the amenities you can think of and beyond. The kitchen is exceedingly well equipped with all the machines, crockery and lots of day to day usage salt and spices. They were kind enough to even provide a few coffee capsules as well. Patrick was a very nice person to talk to and even came to receive us at the apartment. He was kind enough and helpful to give us a tour of the house and guided with all the amenities and answered all our questions without hesitation. He explained everything very nicely and gave us the guest cards for local travel with lot of local recommendations documented at the dining table. The bathroom is amazing and bedroom is spacious and well equipped for all seasons with blankets and linens. They have a spa which can be used by guests. The bus stop is just outside the house with direct access to both Interlaken West and Ost. As a bonus you get a nice mountain view from the living room.

The host was so nice and accomodating. The apartment was awesome. The appliances were new. We had everything we needed. It was very comfortable and quite big. We were 3 couples and we had a lot of space. The location was also excellent. The bus stop is literally right outside. The supermarket is nearby. Highly highly recommend.

We stayed at the hotel for a week and couldn't understand why its rating on Booking.com is only 8.4. The hotel met or exceeded our expectations on all fronts: Location 10 Room 10 Facilities 10 Bar area 10 (nice and cozy) Reception staff 10 (I noticed several negative reviews in Booking.com, not justified in my view) Food 10: the hamburger was the best I have ever tasted (seriously. and I am a hamburger person), and the fillet mignon was fantastic Breakfast: excellent choice, great omelettes Spa 10 (Massage therapist (Marta) 10, amazing massage) Staff 10 With amazing views to the Eiger from our room it was a wonderful overall experience. We have stayed at several hotels in Grindelwald in the past. This is the first one we want to come back to, and expect to do so twice a year.
