Extremely friendly staff. Most speak English well enough to communicate. You can even rent E Scooters and bikes there for a very reasonable price. Hotel is located in the rural area and very lovely.

Beautiful surroundings and breathtaking views from the window. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Everyone who works at the hotel was really kind and welcoming. It was great to be able to purchase food and drinks at the hotel as well. Breakfast was included but you have to pay extra for coffee. The lady working in the kitchen was super sweet and even gave me snacks for my long train journey! Perfect example of Chinese hospitality.

I stayed at the Zen Hotel for two nights and had the most wonderful experience. The hotel is surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty—overlooking majestic mountains and endless pink lotus fields. My room was spotlessly clean, and the view from the window was simply awe-inspiring. As a solo female traveler, I deeply appreciated the warm and attentive staff. A special thank you goes to Karlie, who made my stay truly special. On her day off, she generously offered to show me around. We explored the surroundings on an e-scooter, went bamboo rafting, and shared plenty of laughter. It felt just like spending time with a close friend. Thank you, lovely Karlie, for your kindness and companionship—you made my time in Yangshuo so memorable.To sum it up: a wonderful hotel, fantastic staff, and a highly recommended experience for anyone visiting Yangshuo.

Our stay was perfect. Every time we returned from our tours or shopping, it felt like we were back in paradise. This place is marvelous and it corresponds exactly to what the pictures promised. The rooms are beautiful, clean, modern, and with incredible views of the mountains. Staff are super helpful, always ready to support us in whatever we need. Breakfast is Chinese style, but with a few Western options. We even got a free photoshoot with the photographer Xiao Mo. It was great. We loved it and want to come back again in the future.
