This recently refurbished grand hotel is an absolute gem. It retains much of its splendour whist having been completely updated. All the public spaces were immaculate and the rooms were beautiful.

the staff was extremely accommodating. The air-condition was not functioning properly in the room they gave me at check in. The staff switched my room to another with a partial sea view. They could not be any nicer.

a bit kitch but lovely. The personnel makes the difference. in particular the barman, from whom I am learning every time solething new about Gyn. unfortunately I cannot remember his name.

Nice modern rooms and bathroom. Very comfortable beds. Excellent restaurant on the 6th floor, excellent rooftop bar and very good breakfast. Helpful, polite and always smiling staff. Valet parking is a plus. I loved the music in the corridors.
