Great traditional Japanese style tatami room. It was clean, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The staff were great, and the food was amazing. Private outdoor bath was an amazing experience. 10/10 will return one day

It was definitely exceeded expectation from A to Z. - Pick up from Kawaguchiko station: driver was friendly and punctual. - Check-in: handled seamlessly from the moment we stepped down the mini bus. A dedicated staff walked us through all the facilities before taking us to the room - Activities: * Complimentary tea and snack at the tea house overlooking the beautiful garden was great. * Open air onsen looking directly at the fuji mountain was exceptional, even though it was covered by cloud on my day of visit * Dining in our room (i think 9 course meal) was delivious and luxurious * Room: from bath room to bedroom to dining room to private open air onsen, everything was just perfect Love everything about this place. It is a 2-storeys traditional Japanese house and it is huge!! Love every corner of the house; the decoration, the design is very unique. This is our first experience staying in a traditional Japanese house, with futon beds, tatami floors and also with the real bamboo-paper walls. The living room, dining area, and kitchen is very spacious. The two bedrooms allocated for us (2 adults + 2 kids + 1 infant) were very comfortable, but we only used the room at downstairs. It is recommended for those coming to Fujiyoshida by car because the house's location is not public-transport friendly. Definitely will stay here again in future for our Fuji-san trip since the kids love this house so much!
