From the moment we arrived at Cape Weligama, our honeymoon became truly unforgettable. The villa we stayed in was incredibly spacious, offering every comfort imaginable, including a luxurious bathroom with its own sauna. The highlight was the stunning infinity Moon Pool, where we could relax while enjoying breathtaking ocean views. The Beach Club with private beach access made our stay even more special, giving us the perfect balance of privacy and relaxation by the sea. The gastronomy was simply outstanding—every breakfast, lunch, and dinner was of the highest quality, comparable to a world-class five-fork restaurant. We are especially grateful to our host, Salman, who was always attentive and ensured every detail of our stay was perfect. Our heartfelt thanks also go to the entire service team, particularly Lahiru, whose warm and impeccable service made us feel at home. The hotel also organized a safari to Yala National Park, taking care of everything from the comfortable transport from the hotel to the park, to arranging our own private jeep and guide once inside. Our guide, Damitha, impressed us with his excellent explanations and deep knowledge of the park, making the experience even more enriching. To make the day even more special, we enjoyed a spectacular lunch at Wild Coast Tented Lodge, another property from the Resplendent group—an experience that exceeded all expectations. We had a magical honeymoon on the southern coast of Sri Lanka, and without a doubt, we will return next year to celebrate our anniversary at this paradise.

The staff was always very serviceminded. They helped us with transport around in Weligama, medicine for the kids, communication with travel agency etc. The breakfast and meals was great, almost too much food:) They were flexible when we needed to change timing of meals due to the kids bed time, very nice! The rooms were perfectly cleaned every day. The rooms were bigger than expected, great beds, bathroom and view of pool and beach. Location could not be better; Surf straight outside the hotel, shops and restaurants nearby. At the same time quiet and peaceful. A little lawn for soccer and sandy area for building sand castles. Owner Seya take care of everything moment I landed to Sri Lanka and arrange transfers, safari trip and recommend nice surf school nearby. They have also own tuktuk driver for your use. Location is quiet and near 5min walk is also jungle beach were you can watch sunset. With her help I enjoyed and experienced Sri Lanka more than I expected, so thank you Seya☺️

This property really has the wow factor! There are plenty of spaces to relax and enjoy the views across all different levels of the building. There is fantastic outdoor dining space and indoor lounge area. The pool is lovely and clean and a great space to cool off with plenty of space to chill around it. All the rooms are excellent with plenty of space and en-suite bathrooms. The staff are wonderful - they are always on hand to help and the chef option is easy and efficient and the food is delicious- especially the local sea food. Definitely worth it - we had some incredible meals 😊 Location is fantastic, a quick 3 wheeler into town and easy walk to beach over the road (although rough for swimming).
