Simply superb !! From start to finish this hotel / b&b was the highlight of our visit to NZ. A beautiful home with stunning views of the lake in Lake Taupo. The hosts are most gracious. The room was beautiful. Extremely large with a dressing area, balcony with a gorgeous view, jacuzzi bath tub and shower. Breakfast was plentiful and beautifully presented.

The location was 10 minute drive from the centre of Taupo, breakfast was excellent. Angie and Garth were incredibly friendly giving us help with places to eat and all around the local area. Despite the cold weather in New Zealand for summer we had a fire in the lodge to keep us warm.

Taupo DeBretts Spa Resort is just 800 metres from Lake Taupo crater lake. It has a natural thermal spa and is only 5 minutes' drive from the Taupo town centre. Free Wi-Fi is available.

The facilities were clean and neat. Easy to access with the kitchens and bathroom facilities nearby in short walking distance. Loved that the spa was just nearby for the guests to use them with special discounts.

Cascades Lakefront Motel is located on the edge of Lake Taupo and has a heated outdoor pool and hot tub. Free WiFi and cable TV are included. There is plenty of free parking for trailers and boats.

Been staying in this hotel during our trips. Staff are amazing. Cleanliness is superb. We loved the fact that it is located just in front of the lake.

Absolutely loved it here. the staff were nice, facilities were nice, comfy beds! The room had everything we needed. Easy access to the lake front, absolutely loved the heated pool. Best place I have ever stayed in, 100/10. Will definitely be back, highly recommend!!!

This stay was one of the best during our trip to NZ. It was beyond what we imagined. The accommodation itself was very spacious and comfortable, but the views were unbelievable! We were lucky to have a clear day and could see snow-capped mountains and watch a magical sunset. Not only that, the hosts were very friendly and welcomed us into their home for a drink and breakfast the next day. We also got to walk around the property and meet some of their farm animals and even saw a deer fawn, which was only a few days old. It was just magical!
