Kate was absolutely fantastic - nothing was too much trouble and she can't do enough for her guests. Furthermore you get the impression she genuinely enjoys what she does. This hotel is a true gem! Right on the beautiful Grotto Beach it is a slice of paradise. We stayed in the beautiful Southern Right Suite, and a suite is is!! The sliding glass doors open to the beach, the breakfast is served on the terrace with views in the beautiful garden. In the evening you enter your room to a burning fire and sit with a sherry watching the fire and listening to the waves. In walking distance is a nice restaurant you can walk to on the beach. The pool is small, but heated and adds up to the perfect experience.

Situated against Hermanus Mountain, Selkirk House has spacious rooms with free Wi-Fi and panoramic views over Walker Bay.
