The 5-star Hotel Amigo boasts elegant rooms with designer features, on the corner of Grand Place. It combines modern facilities, a gym and an award-winning restaurant with a picturesque historic setting. I visited Brussels from 2-5 September 2025 and wanted to stay in a hotel that was (a) in or very close to the Grand Place, (b) easy to navigate from to all the other must-see sights, shopping areas and eating places, and (c) well known for its ambience and good service. After some research, I opted for the Amigo Hotel and I couldn’t have made a better choice. The location was perfect—just a lane away from the Grand Place. The room (including the attached bathroom) was spacious and comfortable, and the overall ambience carried a grand yet old-school charm. The staff were unfailingly hospitable, and their service was impeccable. Yes, the price is higher than many other hotels in Brussels, but it is luxury hotel and it was worth every cent for the comfort, convenience, and memorable experience. If I return to Brussels, I will definitely stay at Hotel Amigo again.

This luxurious 5-star hotel is 50 metres from the Avenue Louise shopping area and features a peaceful garden courtyard and grapevine shaded terrace. Hotel Le Châtelain offers a modern top-floor fitness centre and a 24-hour front desk. I love an old-fashioned hotel like this one. It has an actual wardrobe with plenty of space to put in your clothes, a bathroom with both a tub and a shower booth, the amenities were excellent and they gave me fresh ones every day. The room is big, there's a writing desk, a coffee table, two easy chairs. It's bright and quiet at night. There are art books in the room, which impressed me. I hated leaving that super comfortable room!

It includes a heritage-listed Moorish-style theatre, free Wi-Fi access throughout the hotel and a fitness centre. Top notch service! Eye for detail! a luxurious warm stay. Everything about the place oozes cosy luxury and great staff service, everyone is very helpful and always with a smile! we stayed during the first week of January and the hotel was still beautifully decorated with Christmas decoration, stunning magical Christmas tree in the middle and a lot of beautiful other decorations. Loved also the breakfast area with a very good breakfast, serving a great variety of food ! Also a beautiful bar which is open in the evening with extremely gentle staff, who even gave warm milk and chocolates to our son. Also ordered the Christmas package inside the room, delicious large chocolate chip cookies, yummy hot chocolate and beautiful mugs!! Could not fault it in any way, so much detail even the room was very spacious , had robes and slippers available. Would definitely return any time!
