The staff is incredible especially at the main restaurant near lobby! They went above and beyond for us when we wanted sushi and prepare it specially. Beautiful jungle property, very comfortable room with a great jacuzzi on the balcon. The restaurant was really good which is a big plus since you are 2 KM away from town with roads that are pretty much only accessible by off road motorbikes and 4X4 jeeps. The chef “Gordito” and his team made great food

Hotel Boutique Maree has an outdoor swimming pool, bar, a shared lounge and garden in Santa Marta. Boasting a concierge service, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The staff is incredibly friendly, especially at the restaurant and reception. We were running very late to the airport and they managed to prepare our breakfast in just 5 minutes amazing service! Very, very recommended!

We stayed at Cayena by Masaya after visiting Tayrona Park, and it was exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. The staff were all incredibly friendly and professional, from the reception to the restaurant team. The hotel has only a few rooms, which made it feel peaceful and never crowded—we always found a great spot to lounge by the beautiful, large pool (perfect for a proper swim). There’s also a covered area with yoga equipment, and we loved starting the day with a beach-front workout. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a super comfy bed, working AC, hot water, and complimentary refillable drinking water. The restaurant was a highlight—breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all delicious, and the à la carte prices were very reasonable, so we were happy to eat at the hotel. There are beds on the beach, but we mostly stayed by the pool since the ocean had big waves and a small sandy area during our visit (great for surfers, though). Overall, we had a perfect stay and would absolutely recommend Cayena for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful, relaxing setting.

L’établissement Vito Hotel Boutique Taganga se trouve à Taganga, à respectivement 400 mètres et 5,2 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Plage de Taganga et Simon Bolivar Park. l’hôtel est bien situé dans une ruelle calme mais proche de tout. c’est propre et confortable, mais on retient surtout l’accueil de Laura et sa maman, et leurs sourires. elles sont vraiment super, adorables, c’est devenu rare un accueil comme cela … les petits déjeuners sont les meilleurs que j’ai testé en Colombie, tous les jours variés et bien cuisinés !

I went with my girlfriend, and from the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for. The location couldn’t be better — peaceful and quiet inside, yet just steps away from the vibrant atmosphere of the park. The hotel itself has a calm, intimate vibe that made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were truly outstanding: highly professional, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Special thanks to Miriam, who went out of her way to make sure our breakfast was exactly to our taste every morning, and to Fernando, the administrator, who is not only a great professional but also a wonderful conversationalist. If you’re visiting Santa Marta and want a place that combines perfect location, comfort, and exceptional service, Placita Vieja is an excellent choice.
