The arrival was a little difficult intially, as the location is a public site, with a market, bakery and restaurant, but it is all part of the charm and experience. Upon checking in, we were given a tour of the rooms (we had the suites booked), which was very helpful to show us all the features, especially the sauna in the main bathroom. The rooms being located in the main building makes access to all the amenities very easy, and the market store having everything from local produce and meat to locally produced goods, gives non-locals an opportunity to purchase local goods, while the restaurant offers a large locally sourced menu. The rooms were very well appointed, plenty of space and exceptionally clean. The sauna in the suite bathroom was a fantastic touch, that was used in the evening and in the morning. The beds were comfortable and the separate shower and bath provided a nice luxury touch. The following morning breakfast was varied and delicious, despite there being no warm options. The fresh products from the in-house bakery were delicious and really added to the feeling of the locally source products.
