An amazing find, extra kind and helpful staff especially Rocio and Paloma but everyone was so open and friendly .....and the beautiful surroundings and the pool at the end of a hot day of exploring made it better than expected when in the old town.

The hotel has 2 restaurants, one offering snacks and tapas and the other tasty Mediterranean cuisine. The MIM Sotogrande Member of Melia Collection has modern, yet cosy interior design offering an inviting place in which to rest and relax. Just opened so all was new and slick and span. All the staff were wonderful, very attentive, food was delicious, freshly cooked with fresh ingredients, we had breakfast lunch and dinner over our stay and all was very good. We would definitely return as location and high standards are key to us. The bedrooms have everything and gadget you could want and beds are very very comfortable.

The avant-garde rooms include a private balcony, a flat-screen TV and digitally controlled lighting, window blinds and air conditioning. Everything was excellent. Room was big and comfortable. The resort territory is very well maintained; there are several swimming pools. The property is very close to a big and beautiful beach. We were very satisfied with the breakfast.

The luxury spa and wellness centre features an aquamedic pool, hammam, hot tub and sauna, as well as hydrotherapy treatments, facials and massages, all available for an extra charge. Guests have free use of the gym. The breakfast was superb. The room was very comfortable and quiet.Very relaxing stay

Set within the Montecastillo Golf Course, guests at the Barceló Montecastillo Resort can enjoy golf for a surcharge. The modern resort features 2 outdoor pools, a well-equipped spa centre and free WiFi. The room/villa was wonderful, excellent view, spacious and comfortable. Food choices were excellent, enjoyed the lounge choices. Golf course was visually stunning, and we were paired with another couple and had a great experience.
