GermanyThis was a hotel with the best staff I have ever experienced. Very attentive, polite, helpful and courteous. The rooms were beautiful and very cosy, the beds were comfortable, Wi-Fi worked well. It was wonderfully quiet at night. Dinner and breakfast in the adjoining restaurant were excellent. There were plenty of parking spaces nearby. The lounges and bar were very inviting. I can highly recommend this hotel.

As soon as my son and I arrived we were very kindly welcomed by the owner, who gave us all the information needed for our stay. We particularly enjoyed the location to Alton Towers, and the amazing views from our room, and the owners went above and beyond for us. The breakfast was one of the best we have had, all local fresh produce and cooked to perfection.

What a beautifully decorated quaint hotel. Loved the decor and room so incredibly comfortable. Loved the free cake and coffee facilities. The stand alone bath was superb! Near a botanical garden. Staff are so friendly and nice. Can’t wait to return!

Luxurious accommodation. We did not see anyone - apart from a couple of gardeners and a lady cleaning other accommodation. So quiet - we had the whole estate to ourselves. Long walks in the woods and garden. Weather was perfect. Another time might be busy but we loved being there all by ourselves.

Excellent food , chef Mark is exceptional delivering a unique beautiful pub experience with food that is anything but a pub experience, excellent chef level food with a tasting menu along with the daily menu , truly a 5 star experience, if you enjoy a glass of beer try the Jute , refreshing and fruity
