We were extremely satisfied with our stay at Rocca a Mare. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was perfectly clean and comfortable. The rooftop pool is small but absolutely beautiful — a real gem with a lovely view, perfect for relaxing. We truly regret that we stayed only one night; we would have loved to enjoy this place longer. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was outstanding, lots of bread, pastries, cooked to order eggs. Owner Tammy was very friendly and provided trip recommendations. They have worked very hard for several years to make this hotel a reality, and it's a standout in so many respects. Amalia was very friendly and loves also providing restaurant recommendations, we're glad we were able to eat in one of her top 3 restaurants, Gramvousa. George also provided us with great tips to visit the Samaria gorge, which in our view, is a top place to visit. Room was large, with jacuzzi, located just a short walk from the main harbor. I would recommend it without hesitation. There is parking in front of the hotel for just 3 cars, reserved for the hotel guests. If arriving late, you can always park nearby on the same road, preferably on a spot before reaching the hotel.
