Set on an elevated position in Pinakates village, the stone-built Sakali Mansion features an outdoor pool overlooking the Pagasetic Gulf and Pelio Mountains. It offers individually decorated rooms and suites and wellness facilities. Free Wi-Fi is provided. Everything. Pool great. Fab breakfast. Lovely room with amazing views. Very comfortable bed. Fantastic hosts - Kriton and Anastasia could not have been more helpful. One of (if not THE) loveliest places we have stayed in the world.

All well-appointed guestrooms combine traditional features such as antique beds and embroidered sheets with modern amenities like satellite TV. The suites also feature a living room with fireplace and shower with hydromassage, or bathroom with spa bath. The hotel was very nice, clean and the design was traditional and in line with the local architecture. The swimming pool was very nice when we visited during July. The staff was super accomodating and they offered us a take away breakfast as we needed to check out before the breakfast official opening. Our choice of room was on the small side and I would upgrade to a bigger room if I would stay there for longer than 1-2 nights

Nostos is a very special place. The historic house has been restored with a lot of love and attention to detail and is surrounded by a lovely garden. The views are gorgeous. We’re very thankful to Alex and Pamela for their kindness and hospitality, and for the many tips about the area and things to do in Pelion. We’re especially grateful for their support during a personal emergency we had to deal with during our vacation (thankfully, quickly resolved). We had a wonderful, relaxing week at Nostos Country House and in Pelion and we hope to visit again some day!

From check-in to check-out, he embodied warmth and professionalism, treating us like family. He eagerly shared recommendations for hidden trails, local tavernas, and even helped plan a day trip to nearby beaches. His attention to detail, from remembering our coffee preferences to ensuring we had everything we needed, was extraordinary. The breakfast was a highlight, featuring homemade pies, local cheeses, and freshly squeezed juices. The pool area and gardens were pristine and peaceful, but it’s the staff’s dedication—led by Sotiris—that sets this place apart. If you’re looking for a relaxing escape with heartfelt service, this hotel is a gem. Thank you, Sotiris, for your kindness and for making our trip so special—we can’t wait to return!
