Special thanks to Vasilis — he was very helpful and answered all our questions. I truly recommend this hotel. If someone asks me where to stay on Zakynthos — I would definitely say this hotel.

We spent our honeymoon and a private wedding at Contessina Suites & Spa, and it was the best holiday we have ever had. The staff truly made us feel like family. I remember every person by name, and this connection is what makes this place unforgettable. A special thank you to Maria, Guest Relations Manager, who made every day memorable and supported us throughout the wedding preparations. We are also deeply grateful to Arsid, whose professionalism and generosity meant a lot to us — including the champagne, which made our celebration even more special. The hotel has a Michelin Key, but what impressed us most was the atmosphere, comfort, service, and attention to detail. This is not just a hotel stay; it is a unique experience. Breakfasts are excellent, with fresh juices, a rich buffet, and à la carte options. On arrival, we were welcomed with breakfast instead of waiting for check-in, which was a wonderful gesture. The hotel also upgraded our room for our wedding, something we will always remember. We highly recommend staying for at least 7 days to enjoy all the events and special dinners. We already miss everyone and can’t wait to return.

This location offers tranquility close to the vibrant town. The sandy beach is only 100 metres away and last year won the European Blue Flag for the cleanness of its waters. You can enjoy a variety of sport activities here. I loved the architecture, the fact that all their buildings were covered with lots of green plants. I loved their beautiful large pools with perfect blue water. I was impressed by the nice combination of materials they used in their buildings and decorations. Contessina Hotel looks good from any angle, and that is why you will find here a lot of influencers. I also liked the staff, especially I want to send a bit thanks to Vasilis ( the front office manager) and to Christina (the receptionist), they were welcoming and attentive to us, they pampered us and thanks to them we had an unforgettable vacation. I liked our room with private garden and pool. We settled in room 414 with garden and private pool. The room impressed us from the first sight: it was very spacious, it looks more like an apartment. The matrimonial bed was very large and really comfortable. The bathroom was impeccable, the shower had fresh water and had a strong jet (a rarity in Zakynthos). The furniture and decorations were new and modern. The TV was big and had many programs. The second room had two sofas that could be also used as beds and a table where you can have a snack. The terrace by the pool had another table with two chairs, perfect for drinking your morning coffee. The pool was beautiful, very clean and inviting. We took a lot of pictures and movies in the pool. The garden had a double sofa with a table and two deckchairs where we could enjoy the sun all day long and look at the star during the night. There was also a large sun umbrella that can be opened whenever needed. Behind our garden there was a nice playground for kids with a mini cinema. We watched some movies there and had lots of fun. We also had access at Contessina Suites where we loved the Spa and the bar close to the swimming pools. The beach was very close tp us, we were going to MAKAI bar very often.

Excellent food all round, superb quality accommodation and really wonderful staff. I rarely write reviews but this hotel deserves one as it was excellent and epitomises what you would hope for (but often don't get) from a 5 start resort. A special mention must go to the staff who seemed really motivated to ensure you had the best possible time. We stayed on an all inclusive basis and food in both of the themed restaurants and the main restaurant were top class, range of cocktails available were great as well. There are plenty of swimming pool areas and sunbeams and balinese beds were ample in quantity. The perfect adult only 5 star holiday for rest and relaxation
