Flores
Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Bolontiku Boutique Hotel Member of the Cayuga Collection is located 15 minutes by boat from Flores Island. This modern hotel is situated right on Peten Itza Lake and offers free Wi-Fi and breakfast. This hotel is a real gem. Located on the shore of Lake Petén, with its bungalows hidden in the surrounding forest, it could not be more beautiful, relaxed and quiet. Add to that a really good restaurant with exceptional breakfast (everything is made to order, no buffet), and the most helpful and friendly staff you can imagine. The bed was super comfortable, which is really important to me.

We loved our time here. A very tranquil location amongst the rain forest. The staff where excellent, rooms spacious and very comfortable, a great gym for a small hotel and just a nice place to chill.

One of my fav hostels in Guatemala. So clean and tidy, orange decor is a lol, staff are friendly and helpful and Flores itself is superb.
Good hidden away location. Very boho chic.
All the food from the restaurant was delicious! The rooms were spacious. The property had many different spaces for relaxing and lounging. We loved the coffee on the patio every morning and the staff was outstanding! We hired Luis for guiding us in Tikal and he was a superb birder! My husband is a birder and he was the perfect match for us! We hired him to guide us on 2 additional trips while we were there. So glad the hotel connected us with him. Thanks so much!
Superb place in brilliant location. Food very good. Also great communication prior to trip, always fast with responses.
This is a tightly run place with clean little rooms, 5-star shared bathrooms and a quiet reverence for the surrounding nature that you often get in a conservation area setting. My kid loved the pool. My dad loved the restaurant. We did the sunset tour offered through the lodge with Fernando. We really enjoyed the pace that he set (chill out and go at his speed and you'll get more out of it) and the insights he offered on Mayan Biopsphere ecology, Tikal history and present-day culture of the indigenous people of Guatemala. Really special.
The hotel is oustanding. The facilities are pure luxury, but the biggest difference is the warmth of the staff.
The staff was very accommodating The hotel was clean and close to the bridge to walk across to Flores Isle. The pool is lovely as well as the common area on the second floor. The fast food chicken restaurant at the bridge is great. I think staying at this hotel is better than staying on the island.
