We appreciated the variety of possible activities. The niceness of staff and the dedicated involvement of Jonathan the manager: chatting with the guests, taking pictures, giving advice. We booked the campervan dinner which as a magical time and we also visited the sunset hill of the hotel. We had a pleasant afternoon with the cooking and jam lessons chatting with the staff after Bromo tour in the morning.

The en suite bathroom with a bathtub is stocked with a hairdryer, slippers and free toiletries. We had a wonderful stay at Tugu Malang. Room was clean and comfy, the restaurant was consistently excellent across breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the staff were unfailingly helpful. On top of that the hotel is one of the most amazing places I've ever stayed. A real treasure trove of a place, better than most museums, and this only added to the comfort and enjoyment of our stay. A hotel so good it would be worth going back to Malang just to stay there again.
