On Ireland’s beautiful east coast, Powerscourt Hotel is a 5-star hotel tucked away in the woodlands of County Wicklow. There are stunning spa facilities and an award-winning restaurant, Sika.

Opulently furnished rooms all have marble baths, separate rainforest showers and featherbeds. Many rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, panoramic views and terraces. All have a seating area and free Wi-Fi. My first thought on entering the room was; "when can I come back". Fantastic location, hotel is ideal for a short break you'll not want to leave

Contemporary Irish cuisine is on the menu at Yew Restaurant which uses locally sourced ingredients while Tupper's is a traditional Irish bar which also serves bar food. The Grill & Bar features an open kitchen, cocktail bar and panoramic views. It is located on the mezzanine level and features dishes such as Tomahawk steak and lobster. Breakfeast and dinner were exceptional and the staff was very friendly. The room was really large and the view beautiful. So was the whole estate. The electric car charging station was the icing on the cake.
