The breakfast although I selected the Western style option it was more a Japanese breakfast than western and therefore my kids didn't enjoy much. It was delicious, but not much western style.

We stayed in one of the villas as a family, such an amazing experience. The reception is very helpful and you get a lot of complimentary beverages and breakfast delivered to your doorstep in the morning. The view from the villa is spectacular. We had a lovely time!

It is a 2-storeys traditional Japanese house and it is huge!! Love every corner of the house; the decoration, the design is very unique. This is our first experience staying in a traditional Japanese house, with futon beds, tatami floors and also with the real bamboo-paper walls. The living room, dining area, and kitchen is very spacious. The two bedrooms allocated for us (2 adults + 2 kids + 1 infant) were very comfortable, but we only used the room at downstairs. It is recommended for those coming to Fujiyoshida by car because the house's location is not public-transport friendly. Definitely will stay here again in future for our Fuji-san trip since the kids love this house so much!

I was allowed to spend one night as a guest in this fantastic hotel. I have never been shown such hospitality in any other hotel. The food was also excellent and the service outstanding. The private and public onsen with views of Mount Fuji were breathtaking. I definitely should have allowed more time and will definitely book again one day.
Many thanks to the whole team at Bessho Sasa for such a great experience.
Room: Huge for a couple. Private onsen is always flowing, very calming, enjoyed the mini waterfall.
Breakfast: Plenty of food, but limited halal options. Default to bread, rice, salmon, mackerel, egg, the usual. Dine at your discretion.
Dinner: Took the half board kaiseki course. Arranged in advance, was served seafood delicacies like lobsters, abalone. Chefs cooked some right at the table. Excellent!

Amazing experience! Views of Mount Fuji from the room, private onsen, private dinner in the room with a delicious chef menu that exceded our expectations. The breakfast was very complete. The rooftop had nice views as well. Overall, a great stay for what we were looking for: views of Mount Fuji and a bit of luxury & calm during our stay in Japan. Special thank you to Naoto and the futon-master!
