Staff were exceptional, although it's a big hotel we felt very special, the personal attention we received was outstanding. This was the best service we experienced in Colombo. They really know how to look after their guests. The Shangri-la exceeded our expectations. We are also upgraded to a premier ocen view room, which was a wonderful experience. We ate in the central cafe and the Japanese restaurant and the food and service was exceptional.

Excellent facilities and service at a great location. The Sheraton at Colombo made for an amazing stay based on its central location and excellent service. We were given an upgraded room based on my Marriott status and had access to the lounge which made for a relaxing area for a bite or a beverage. Rooms were spacious and had an excellent view of the ocean, which made for a serene experience when one woke up and during the day. What topped it all off was the excellent service and the help offered, be it for a list item on our flight in, or other hotel amenities. The breakfast spread was top notch with tons of varieties and customizations! Recommend it highly if you’re planning on a visit to Colombo!

Wonderful hotel! We have the warmest memories of staying there. It feels like a real castle, but the level of comfort is quite modern, very clean, beautiful furniture, everything is new and fresh. The staff deserves special thanks! Manager Damith, chef Mahesh and all team were very kind, friendly and always ready to help. Everything was done to the highest standard. Also there is beautiful hotel territory to walk around. Incredible nature, a mango tree from which monkeys steal mangoes. Comfortable and clean pool with pleasant water temperature. Great food, you can order in advance and dinner or lunch will be served by a certain time. Lots of fruits are served. The location of the hotel is also good, it is a 2 hours drive to Kandy and not far from Colombo. Nearby there are a beautiful botanical garden, cinnamon plantations, waterfalls. Feel free to ask manager to help you with driver.
