Large pool, amazing view (although there was a very high building just next to it under construction). Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was very good, lots of different foods. Staff was friendly.

When we checked in we got upgraded to a suite and even though we only stayed 1 day, it was so wonderful! We had a 3 night stay at Ayr Castle, and I would highly recommend it for anyone wishing to travel to relax and spend a few days to rejuvenate. We loved everything about the place. The location was stunning, and our suite was simply perfect for relaxing. The food was really great, with a nice selection of meals. The staff were very hospitable, welcoming, and attentive. The peaceful surroundings and the magnificent scenery were hardly things you would expect from a place just an hour's drive away from Colombo. It was the perfect escape for two people who were wishing for solitude and comfort. I would like to thank the team for making us feeling welcome and giving us an amazing stay!

The staff - Rifishaz Refai and his wonderful team went out of their way to offer hospitality like no other. Nothing was difficult.
