Absolutely amazing hotel – 10/10! We stayed for a week and were beyond impressed. The hotel is stunning, the staff is incredibly kind and truly attentive, and the food is outstanding. We ended up eating on-site several times because it was just that good. The entire property has everything you need for a perfect stay. I saw some negative reviews before coming, but honestly, we didn’t experience anything like that – everything exceeded our expectations. A special highlight: my girlfriend had her birthday during our stay, and the staff made it unforgettable. They surprised her with a homemade cake at breakfast (brought out with music by the kitchen team!), and later, the room was beautifully decorated with balloons, towel art, and more. It was truly touching. Can’t recommend this place enough – we would definitely come back!

Jackie ist ein unglaublich toller Gastgeber, er macht dies mit sehr viel Liebe und das lässt er die Gäste spüren. Er kümmert sich sehr gut um seine Gäste und steht bei Fragen immer zur Verfügung. Die Unterkunft ist top, mit der Möglichkeit an einer Yoga Stunde teilzunehmen. Die Lage ebenfalls super, ca. 2 Minuten zu Fuss zum Strand. Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls sehr lecker und mal was anderes als das typische Sri Lankesische Frühstück. Tolle Atmosphäre, wir würden einen Aufenthalt hier dringend empfehlen! Gracias an Jackie!

Go have breakfast at Mr Sunils Roti and Juice Shop and/or Mermaid's kitchen in Ahangama.

Beautiful modern property in a great location close to 2 fantastic beaches and a few minutes walk to Secret Beach. We met James (and Lou) the owner and their friends who happened to be staying at the same time. We were welcomed to a ‘family feel’ environment and told to help ourselves to drinks and to join in on the daily on site yoga. The pool area was really relaxing and beautiful with the pool being the perfect temperature. We felt more like we were leaving a few days with friends than staying at accommodation. We were given great recommendations of places close by to dine (and there were plenty). The chef (sadly I have forgotten his name) was so lovely and helpful and engaging. We really enjoyed our chats with him and he was obviously also a talented chef. Breakfast was always lovely and the timing of it very flexible. We really enjoyed our 3 days here.
