This was a lifesaver for us and our dogs. The staff here are exceedingly kind and helpful, and I mean all of them. We have stayed at lots of places, at both ends of the spectrum but the Montreal is a whole other level of great. Beds,rooms,bathroom,balcony and basically everything else is top notch,100% spot on. It started at the front desk Ashia (and apols if I spelt it wrong) looked after us very well and throughout our stay in providing recommendation of where to eat the night of arrival. Our room was spacious and obviously very well serviced, and as a bonux it overlooked the Esplanade. From my wife's perspective this stay was clearly the highlight of our trip to NZ.
