It truly feels and looks like a 5 star hotel. It was super clean and the rooms were quiet which made it feel like I was at home in my own comfort. There is a restaurant at the bottom and I highly recommend it. The chef is French and it honestly shows in the passion he puts in each plate. Great place overall

We felt very welcome and the boutique feeling is so much nicer than the huge crowded hotels. The porter (sorry, forgot his name) was really good with the kids and friendly overall which made the arrival very positive. Small great touches here and there that make it such a good experience to stay at the George. I would travel to Christchurch just for staying at the George.
