The hotel decor is fresh, fun and interesting, welcoming and comfortable. A few days before our arrival, one of our group broke her hip and had emergency surgery. She was newly released from the hospital and we wanted to settle her into her room at the hotel upon the arrival of our morning ferry to Wellington. We messaged Museum Apartment Hotel and requested that she be given access to her room early and the staff was unfailingly gracious and kind in their immediate response and they arranged for our entire group to be checked into our rooms several hours early. Their kindness made a difficult situation much better.
