The hotel facilities are beautiful, with lots of activities both on and off property. We made use of the pool table, darts, pool, gym, spa, kayaks, dhow boat, and more. The food was amazing, and it was so nice to have breakfast and dinner included, no need to worry about finding a place to eat. The menu was large, so even though we were there for 4 nights, we were not bored. The staff are amazing, super attentive and personable. A true gem of a hotel in Zanzibar.

Try not to get influenced by the negative reviews, I am so glad we didn't because everything was up to an incredible standard. We loved Coco such a cute addition but we are also big animal lovers. Good food, good breakfast options, clean beach with cool restaurants around. The masais were not intrusive, mainly just friendly guys. So happy we chose Karibu. The room with beach view was out of this world.
