Michelle was such a warm and lovely host, offering to arrange our cruise and attraction tickets for us, even guiding us on a short walking tour from the accomodation to the nearest attraction (LuDi Cave). 我也向去桂林的中国人推荐这家酒店! Normally I don't do extensive reviews, I limit myself to saying whether or not it is what they offer, but I think this accommodation deserves it. If you want to stay in a beautiful place, and with special attention, this is your hotel. Although it is not in the tourist center, the Didi (Chinese Uber) service is easy and around10 minutes away from moon and sun pagodas, with a cost of aprox 15 yuan (2€). The place is VERY beautiful, quiet and it is also within walking distance of one of the typical visits, the Reed Flute Cave, just 15/20 minutes along a hiking trail next to the river. The area is beautiful to walk and has its own restaurants. The bed was super comfortable, and in my case I appreciated that tranquility and relaxed aesthetic, since China is very stimulating throughout the day. But what I liked most was the attention of the owner, super friendly and helpful. The stay included transfer from the north station by taxi, breakfast offering us if we preferred the traditional noodles of the area or coffee, toast, yogurt... He offered us fruit upon arrival, and to leave he prepared us fruit, water and even a gift. It's seems that it is a family business and I hope it prospers and does very well.

This stay completely exceeded my expectations! Although there is no elevator in the hotel, each floor isn’t very high—carrying my luggage up a few steps felt more like a light little workout, and it wasn’t a hassle at all. The owner was extremely thoughtful; when he saw I had a large suitcase, he proactively came to help, which instantly dispelled all my worries. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was as soft as the quilt at home, so I slept exceptionally well at night. Moreover, this old building without an elevator actually has a more cozy, homey vibe. The sound insulation is surprisingly good, and I couldn’t hear any noise from the corridor at all. The breakfast included freshly cooked porridge and side dishes, which were steaming hot and really warmed my stomach.

Very beautiful boutique hotel. Everything at the hotel was exceptional quality, including the bedding, the bathrobes and the morning breakfast. The staff made the check-in seamless and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had a special stay. The location was also safe and convenient, a short walk from a delicious restaurant and easy to navigate to with DiDi.

Lovely rural location, 200 m away from the Red Flute Cave, 4.5 km away from Guilin historic center. Modern and spacious suite room, large windows with bucolic view. The english speaking receptionist made an amazing work to organize our visits through the country day after day, and explained us how to use the essential chinese apps for easy moving and paying (Alipay, Didi).

Location was great, just facing the river, and close to a pedestrian street, with lots of restaurants and food options. Our room's view was stoning! And the room was comfortable and modern. The front desk team was outstanding, very helpful, and helped us with a minor issue we had at this trip. I highly recommend this hotel!
