the exceptional staff and the Onsen was amazing. I definitely recommend going to the older, more traditional bath. The snow monkey park was easy to reach. Overall we had a very relaxing experience.

The staff was very helpful and polite. The room was large with western beds, with the option of futons. The tea in the room was great. The view was fantastic. The private onsen was great, clean, relaxing, and with an amazing view of the mountains. The breakfast was good, and there was a lot of it. The place is in a great spot, just a few minutes walk from Yudanaka Station.

Everything!! The room was stunning with its private onsen where we could customize the water temperature while enjoying breathtaking panoramic views. The staff went above and beyond with their exceptional kindness and attentiveness. A special mention goes to the onsen lady! It was a pleasure communicating with her despite language barriers. The property was very cosy, it was a lovely experience to stay in an original ryokan, and have a quiet time in the onsen. The staff was extremely kind and friendly, and the location was just a short walk from the train station.

This lodge has really been well set up for a ski trip! The rooms were clean, comfortable and warm. Breakfast was great, and the on-site onsen was amazing after a day of skiing on the mountain. The staff were also very helpful and picked us up and dropped us at the station as well. Overall a great stay and I'd definitely come back!
