Probably the best accomodation I booked via booking.com (there were dozens). Definitely the best I remember. The location is great (entrance to the Vintgar Gorge is a stone's throw away), the hosts are very friendly and went to great lengths (calling restaurant owners) to help us find a good restaurant the next day. Did I mention we only booked about 30 mins before we actually turned up? And we were greeted with a fridge containing wine, bottle of spirit, beer and milk, all free to use (included in price). We were also offered (didn't ask!) to leave our car at the property car park before visiting the Vintgar Gorge, despite the fact that we've already checked out at that point.

It has been 1 month since we left Troha House and we still recall with family and friends the friendly service we received during our short stay. The personal attention we had, the tranquilty of this quaint village combined with an excellent built and furnished to last spec accommodation. This was a perfect stop for a couple of nights, though we could easily have stayed longer. The staff were extremely friendly (we were even upgraded), the room was clean and comfortable, facilities were great and the breakfast was delicious with a wide assortment of hot and cold dishes. We were at Lake Bled for a wedding so the location was perfect and if you need to get a bus, the stop is just outside the hotel.

It is an absolutely fabulous place, located in an idyllic location, very close to the city, the lake and the main restaurants. You are like in your grandparents' house from the stories. The breakfast is very good and varied. The staff is helpful and nice! Impeccable cleanliness. Being accommodated here you get a 20% discount at the Spa, Rikli Hotel! Wonderful, we will definitely come back!
