My husband and I were here for our honeymoon and originally booked a different “5 star” property in Puerto Manzano. That hotel was mostly nice but not nice enough to merit 5 stars, and our room was uninhabitable — boiling hot and the shower flooded the whole bathroom. We checked out after 1 night and fled to Auria for our remaining 2 nights, and were so happy we did. The staff is wonderful, the hotel is beautiful, and we had a wonderful peaceful rest of our stay.
