The staff at Xishu were exceptional. We were greeted in our room with a complimentary bottle of wine and delicious local snacks, which was unexpected but a beautiful touch! Everyone working at the hotel was so eager to help, give advice on itineraries, and even offered to plan an itinerary for western Sichuan and Tibet for our next visit, and of everywhere we’ve visited so far, the staff at Xishu spoke the best English (not that that is super important with the existence of translation apps!). The hotel is located near the monastery and is super convenient to everything in the city, especially if you’re interested in riding shared bikes around. Breakfast was great, and the coffee was the best we’ve had in China so far. Plus, the room was super comfortable

Located in the central business district of Tianfu New Area, Citadines South Chengdu is just a 2-minute walk from Tianfu Software Park. This self-catering accommodation features free WiFi. Tianfu 3rd Street Subway Station is positioned an easy 2-minute stroll away. The rooms were very large - I especially enjoyed the shower section. I stayed with my partner and found the room very convenient but it could be more challenging for people uncomfortable sharing a washroom as the shower and sink area are not segregated. The hotel also provided cute panda keychains during our stay! We had delivery to the hotel and pick-up was convenient downstairs. There is also a small shop that sold buns and drinks next door. The room was very clean and the AC/Wi-Fi worked perfectly. We mostly took DiDi to get around and location was convenient for pick-up and drop-off.

The room was soundproofed, so I couldn't hear the noise outside at all and slept soundly.
