The hotel is 5 km from the European Parliament and a 10-minute walk from the train station. Public parking is available nearby at an additional cost, reservation is mandatory and there is a valet parking service at the hotel. Location of the hotel is great, just in the middle of the historical part of the city, however quiet at the top floor. Beautiful and spacious room. We tried the spa facilities and the massage was amusing! Warm thanks to all staff who were very helpful , kind and attentive.

The location was outstanding, overlooking the Christmas market [which was the purpose of our trip]. Of course this means there is about a 1km trip from the train station which was an easy walk. On arrival, we dropped our bags just up the street at La Conciergerie [NannyBag reservation, worked very well, very nice people]. The entry directions were clear and easy to do. The room, an appartment, was everything you would expect. We didn't get to meet Camille but she checked up on us regularly and I'm sure would have been help if we needed. For the older non-EU folks like us, a smart phone usable in Europe is almost necessary to stay here though (at a minimum e-mail access). Finally, if you take day-trips by train from Colmar the Uber application is a handy backup [without Uber we would have been stuck in Bollwiller due to rail equipment failure that stopped trains thru Bollwiller for an entire afternoon/evening].
