Situated in Grasmere, 12 km from Windermere, Victorian House features parking is limited and offered on a first come and first served basis.

The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. Some units include a seating area where you can relax. Certain units feature views of the mountains or garden. Victorian House features free WiFi . The rooms were really nice and well maintained. Our bathroom was also really clean and comfortable. The breakfast every morning was also really good, you always had a nice choice of fresh made breakfast items. The staff was also really helpful and kind. All in all it was a really good experience. The location itself is also perfect. Grasmere is ideally situated if you're looking into a holiday with lots of walking.

Breakfasts are all made from high quality local produce, with a selection of traditional full English breakfasts or vegetarian and continental options. Everything was excellent , the setting and proximity to the town. The room and bathroom were spacious, well decorated and clean. Breakfast was first class. A very enjoyable experience and will stay again next year when in the area

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning.

Each stylish room has fresh light décor. Excellent location. Was able to purchase early parking and check in. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The hotel was clean, bright, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, fruit juices, fruit, yogurt, granola and cereals and a great selection of cooked breakfast choices.

Guests can start their day with a full English breakfast and later enjoy an award-winning menu at the Rosette-accredited Oscar’s Restaurant, known for its exceptional cuisine, relaxed atmosphere, and attentive service. Absolutely beautiful location grounds and hotel.

Located in Ambleside, 9.1 km from World of Beatrix Potter, Ambleside Salutation Hotel & Spa provides accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. This 4-star hotel offers free WiFi. Guests can use the spa and wellness centre with an indoor pool, sauna, and hot tub, as well as a bar. Everyone was so accommodating. We did not use the spa, but the work out facilities were excellent.

High ceilings in this traditional stone-built house give rooms a light, spacious feel. Beds are adorned in Egyptian cotton linen and there are also TVs and free Wi-Fi in rooms. amazing location. Wonderful breakfast. rooms are big enough and modern. The hotel is walking distance from the city center. new owners. will definitely come back.

A 5-minute drive from Bassenthwaite Lake, Ravenstone Manor is an 19th-century manor house set in 3 hectares of ground. The property is at the foot of Skiddaw, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. It offers stone walls and en suite bathrooms.

The property's dining room mixes traditional and modern dishes based on locally sourced products. Dishes feature Cumbrian game and locally caught fish. By far, one of my favourite places to stay! We loved the outdoor terrace, the spectacular views and the genuine staff! Not to mention, great breakfast! Also, loved the idea of having dogs allowed - there were so many around which really added to the wonderful ambience :)
