This hotel also has a wine room and lobby bar. Very nice hotel in the city centre, with beautiful cozy and warm rooms, very good breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff.

The room had a good fan which was important since it was a hot day for Iceland.

Reception staff is attentive and friendly, help to solve some problems. The location is great, right in the center. The room is a bit small, but everything you need is there. The bus stop to the airport and stop of hop on-hop off bus is right at the exit. You can walk to the cruise port.

Each room at Exeter Hotel is designed with industrial décor, modern furnishings and wooden floors. Every room has a smart TV, refrigerator and Nespresso coffee machine. Some also feature a sea/mountain, or city and/or garden view. We stayed for a short duration, however the property is centrally located, so it helped us cover all the touristy areas of Reykjavik. The church is a moderate walk (20+ mins) however most of the shopping streets are close by as well as the harbour. We were provided with check-in an hour earlier without charge. The hotel and rooms were also clean and the surroundings were not very noisy. The coffee shop downstairs also had very good coffee (not a surprise in Iceland).
