This is a really nicely decorated, very clean, brand new hotel (upon our booking we even could not find it on Google maps), located a few minutes' walk from the train station and the main attractions of Takayama, so this is a good starting point to visit Takayama and it's neighborhood. The beautiful onsen on the top (equipped with necessary toiletries, extra towels) is a super opportunity to relax after a long day of sightseeing, or in case of bad weather. The breakfast absolutely worth the money, we had the opportunity to enjoy delicious traditional Japanese and Western-style breakfast as well. I highly recommend it!
