Peacefully situated on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi in the scenic Mount Fuji area, Japanese-style hot spring hotel Kasuitei Ooya features rooms with stunning lake views, some boasting a private open-air bath. The hotel features a hot tub, massage treatments and karaoke rooms. The stay was well worth the price. We were able to drop our bags off before checking in, and also had them hold them after checkout. Staff were courteous and always available to help us out. The meals were delicious, almost too much food (but I feel like that's a common theme with ryokans, they keep bringing more food!). The onsen was also very refreshing and it was so nice to have our own private open air bath in our room. Definitely recommend

Offering beautiful Mount Fuji views from all rooms, public baths, and restaurants, Mizno Hotel is a 5-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Train Station. Located on a hilltop and overlooking Lake Kawaguchi, the hotel serves French dinner with an advance reservation. I did not have breakfast but everything else was perfect. Location is great compared to the price. Staffs are warm and helpful.
