Breakfast was delicious (had both Sri Lankan and non Sri Lankan options). A bit out of town but we thought absolutely worth it. Would stay again. Loved it and didn't want to leave!

We stayed in the king with a small private garden and it was so lovely. Bathroom was very big and long. Free breakfast was amazing and a 5-course slow (in a good way) leisurely experience with coconut juice, tea, fruits, bread and main. Service staff were all very nice. Definitely recommend!

Situated in Colombo, 2.4 km from Wellawatte Beach, La Maison de Colombo features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The staff at La Maison really went above and beyond. From greeted arrivals with welcome drinks to attentive and friendly staff at the restaurant. Chamara in particular was an excellent concierge. He booked appointments for me at the local spa (Noelines is great!) organised transfers and provided helpful recommendations. The hotel is a green oasis in busy Colombo. I enjoyed lounging by the pool and slept in the most comfortable bed. The location was safe so I felt comfortable walking to other cafes, restaurants and ATMs on my own. The owner Christophe is very passionate about his hotel and will happily answer questions or give you a tour. There are seven rooms at La Maison each with their own French theme. Finally I’d recommend the cheese platter which is actually made up of French imported French cheeses!
